Pierre Bergé, the former partner of the late Ysl and president of the Fondation Caillou Bergé-Yves Saint Laurent, has bypassed London as the location for the to start with UK exhibition of the designer's work out, opting for County Durham instead.

'Yves Saint Laurent: Style Is just Eternal' will open at the Bowes Museum in the town of Barnard Castle, County Durham on Come july 1st 11. Some 50 garments via the designer's archives will be on display, these kinds of iconic pieces from the Russian Number, the Mondrian dresses, the famous The Smoking tuxedo first unveiled by 1966, and the Safari jacket.

The Bowes Museum was created by John Bowes, the bogus son of the 10th Earl over Strathmore, and his French wife Josephine Chevalier, the Countess of Montalbo, to resemble a French chateau. "The Bowes Adult ed is a natural destination given a exceptional work with fashion and materials; the museum and its location sometimes clearly reflects Yves Saint Laurent's and my own passion for electrifying, timeless places, " he added an extra.

The exhibition will run finally October 25, meaning the UK shall be home to two major fashion représentation this year;

will run at the V&A Museum fro March 14 finally July 19.
