Eloy Martínez entre ma Pera, curator of the exhibition Givenchy iPhone 5 case, explains the first major retrospective in the work of the French fashion designer Hubert de Givenchy, a key twentieth-century president and a living legend in the good haute couture. The exhibition in considered the Museum's first foray into the sexy world and provides an exceptional survey of the couturier's creations over nearly half a cent, from the opening of the Maison Givenchy in Paris in 1952 which will his professional retirement in 95.
A hundred or so of his topmost pieces selected from museums and collections all over the world, many of them never former shown, establish a dialogue in the Museum's galleries with a group of works of this Thyssen-Bornemisza collection.
